My client is searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their prestigious iGaming organisation here in Malta. You will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and various teams to manage, design and support the backbone of their groundbreaking solutions that are disrupting the industry.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to work on a highly competitive solution with a soft real-time system, utilizing the latest technologies to stay ahead of the game. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for solving complex technical problems, making this role perfect for those who enjoy a technical challenge. You will:
- Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and automate processes
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
- Improve infrastructure monitoring and other components (such as Sentry) to help reduce the incidence of bugs in production.
- Take ownership of projects related to database administration (mainly MongoDB) Participate in code changes related to infrastructure components (TypeScript)
- Troubleshoot issues and improve our CI/CD platform including improving pipelines runner setup and also improving release tooling. Maintain gaming platform infrastructure as code.
- Ensure new components are duly maintained in configuration management.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a DevOps role
- Experience with AWS (CDK, Cloudformation, CloudWatch, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.) & Cloudflare
- Experience with AWS Serverless
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores (DynamoDB and MongoDB)
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is preferable
Salary: €60,000 – €70,000
