Opportunity to join a well-established and succesful Investment Bank with an easily accessible location right in the heart of Malta as the new Risk Officer.
As our new team member, you will be reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the team in maintaining the Operational Risk Management Framework across the Banks entities.

Responsibilities
- Building professional relationships with stakeholders by listening, advising, consulting and influencing the operational risk management across various business areas
- Maintaining the organisations risk and incident register and coordinating Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) sessions
- Investigating operational risk events and obtaining root cause analysis
- Assisting in tracking timely remediation of issues, ensuring issues detected through RCSA and operational risk events have assigned owners and corrective actions defined
- Supporting the operational risk reporting
- Liaising with the Management in the testing of controls
Requirements
- A Diploma in Maths, Statistics, Finance or Banking OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Salary: € 20.000 – 24.000 based on experience
