Are you an Infrastructure and Security Manager looking for an opportunity to take your career to the next level with incredible exposure to a wide variety of industries? My client is looking for an Infrastructure and Security Manager to join their prestigious organisation here in Malta where you will provide critical security services by protecting key infrastructure and highly confidential datastores from threats and vulnerabilities. The technology team is responsible for information security, technology design, communications infrastructure and service management. The Technology team will also participate in a global community.
As an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager you will be tasked with:
- Manage, lead, inspire, coach, motivate and coordinate a team of infrastructure, network, and security specialists responsible for the organisation’s network architecture, information security platforms, infrastructure systems, data centre operations, high availability, recovery services, and other pertinent systems & solutions.
- Ensure that the team achieves and surpasses defined service level agreements, through the delivery of high quality and effective management to ensure a high level of service upkeep.
- Analysing and proposing solutions to enhance the Technology infrastructure and security roadmap.
- Ensure timely project completion and delivery, managing project budgets, estimates, and progress reports.
- Establish and maintain a good working and knowledge-sharing environment within the technology team whilst promoting a positive culture focusing on teamwork.
- Carry out supplier management, negotiate on behalf and in the best interests of the Authority.
Execute management tasks in a consistent manner, including maintaining existing infrastructure and Security applications by creating, updating, and enforcing standards and procedures for implementing solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years’ Experience working in IT Infrastructure management role with strong domain knowledge.
- MQF Level 6 Degree or else 15 years of Professional Experience
- Have a working knowledge of networking – HP, Cisco, Checkpoint, Microsoft technologies, virtualisation, firewalls, Web Filtering Solutions, Mail Gateways, Load Balancers and Intrusion Detection/Prevention solutions.
- Strong Networking Background – CCNA or CCNP certified ideally.
- ITIL certification would be an advantage.
Salary: €40,000 – €47,000
