This Data Engineer position is with a leading entity and highly respected brand both on a local and international scale. Your new employer is modernising its entire data infrastructure, transitioning from legacy systems to a brand-new, greenfield data platform built using modern orchestration and data lake technologies, enabling you to receive hands on exposure rarely seen. This Data Engineer position is ideally suited to a data professional looking to collaborate on enterprise-level migration and automation projects. The organisation has a mature, robust network environment, granting you the significant opportunity to grow as they scale their modern data architecture.
You will:
- Design and build new data pipelines from scratch on a greenfield platform.
- Migrate and modernise data platforms from legacy systems to new architectures.
- Operate with modern tools like Airflow, cloud storage, and data lake technologies.
- Contribute to data warehousing initiatives and future AI-driven capabilities.
Skills / Experience:
- 2+ years of commercial experience with Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools, specifically Airflow.
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data migration.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or DevOps practices is a big plus.
Salary / Remuneration: €42,000 – €48,000 Based on Experience
