The Client:
Our client is a well established and highly reputable food manufacturing company. They are now seeking to recruit a Store Keeper to work at their state-of-the-art production facility in Malta (centrally located).

Job Responsibilities: 
  • The Store Keeper will be primarily responsible for the upkeep of the company’s stores of incoming materials including receiving of supplies, checking quantities received and confirming deliveries.
  • Issuing and receiving raw materials and packaging supplies to and from the company’s various production centres.
  • Checking and unloading deliveries safely in the designated areas.
  • Willing to make use of fork-lifters and electric palletisers to move goods around the stores.
  • Segregating stock in accordance with the Company’s Quality procedures 
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and any short-dated stocks are immediately brought to the attention of Management. 
  • Perform stock takes as directed by Management. 
  • Assist with input of stock movement data onto the company’s computer system. 
  • Maintaining the stores in a safe, clean and tidy condition.
  • Assist the Purchasing & Stores Manager in the daily operations
Candidate Skills: 
  • Have “O” level of education 
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be responsible and organised person who enjoys working in a team
  • Be a pro-active, flexible and systematic person, with a positive attitude towards work.
  • Have an eye for detail 
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Good command of English is a prerequisite; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an advantage.
