The Client
The client is one of the leaders in the Legal & Financial Services sector, with a large portfolio of local and international clientele. They are seeking to recruit an experienced IT risk advisor to join their IT department.
Job Responsibilities: 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting the audit of specific IT risk areas following an existing audit plan with a considerable degree of autonomy, proposing appropriate evidence gathering and testing techniques and analyzing them against criteria
  • Delivering a preliminary audit report of the material facts findings under the IT risk area assigned
  • Use a variety of inspection techniques including, but not limited to, observation, information verification and analysis, targeted interviews, walk-through testing, sampling and validation of data
  • Other related tasks as may be specified by the client
Candidate Skills: 
Requirements
  • M.Sc. in Computer Science
  • Experience in the field of IT consultancy and auditing, or related functions
  • Knowledge of the EBA/GL/2017/05 Guidelines on ICT Risk Assessment under the Supervisory Review and Evaluation process
  • Knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27000 and ITIL (particularly Change, Incident and Problem Process Management)
  • Experience in Project and Software Development Management Methodologies and/or Best Practices, IT Architecture (Frontend, Backend, Middleware) and IT Risk Management and IT Continuity Management
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to travel
