Our client is a leading online gaming company. They try to develop and manage leading cutting-edge digital gaming brands and always excel in providing customers with the ultimate digital gaming experience and first class customer service. They are currently looking for a Head of Human Resources to join their team in Malta. The successful candidate will directly report to the Chief Operations Officer.

Job Responsibilities: 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains the work structure by regularly updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Manages the recruitment process by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program to recruit top talent.
  • Counsels managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyses exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
  • Scheduling management conferences with employees
  • Hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Manages and maintains employee benefits programs.
  • Devises and implements a performance management system to guide employee performance and maintain a fair bonus structure.
  • Requests and implements salary increases and supports promotions with line managers.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all employees whilst also making sure they have the necessary tools to perform their work and maintain high levels of performance.
  • Monitors and ensures motivation and retention of employees by maintaining a benefit structure and organising various staff events.
  • Supports and implements a new HRIS System.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Candidate Skills: 


  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR manager.
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • A degree in Human Resources or related field
