Job Information: 

Our client is a leading player in the Marketing & Communications Sector with a large portfolio of local and international clientele. They are currently seeking to employ a Credit Control Clerk on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will directly report to Accounting Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities: 
Close liaison between the credit controller and the sales department
Checking customer's credit situation with credit rating agencies before offering the credit
Dealing with internal queries about payments
Ensure all relevant debts by customers are managed as necessary
Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
Handle disputed or part-paid invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
Undertake account reconciliations as required
Develop the credit management capability within the company
Review the company's debt recovery procedures
Candidate Skills: 

• An Advanced level of Accounts
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, in particular Excel
• Good time management skills so as to meet tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision
• Organised, with an eye for detail
• Passionate, committed and a team player
