Junior Accounts Clerk

Job Information: 

Our client is well established within the hospitality industry and is looking for a Junior Accounts Clerk. The person will be responsible for collecting orders, sorting data, controlling stocks and carrying out general administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Checking Daily Revenues / Takings from Front Office and various outlets, reconciling with Opera revenue and investigating discrepancies
  • Recording and building up cash reports 
  • Compiling various reports in preparation of the monthly management accounts 
  • Creditors and Debtors reconciliations and payments 
  • Monitoring the invoicing process 
  • Transferring files into the main accounting system 
  • Monthly stock taking and computation 
  • Liaising with the Chief Cashier 
  • Raising purchase orders and invoices 
  • Being familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
Candidate Skills: 
  • Possess an A'Level in Accounts  (new graduates from MCAST will also be considered as training will be given)
  • Be organised and have an analytical mindset
  • Have good communication skills and be a an excellent team player
  • Be able to work under pressure
